Administration
Jamie Standaert ~ Principal
I have served in public education for the past fifteen years. I am a graduate of Stevensville High School, then earned my B.A. in Elementary Education from Carroll College. I later earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Montana. I have served as an elementary teacher, special education teacher, and school administrator. I enjoy seeing students grow and change throughout the course of their educational experience. I am married with three children and am looking forward to living in the Bitterroot Valley, where I grew up, and sharing all of the beauty with my own family. I am honored to serve as the new K-12 Principal for Victor Public Schools. I am looking forward to partnering and supporting teachers, to make student success a priority during the 2021-2022 school year.
Scott Stiegler ~ Superintendent
Hello, I am excited to serve as your Superintendent.
I want to wish Mrs. Woodard the best in her next adventures. She was an integral part of this school community for 5 years and has left an indelible mark. Mrs. Woodard was very helpful to me early on and over the summer and I want to thank her for everything. Best of luck to you, Diane.
I grew up in Frenchtown, Montana. Aside from wrestling season, I enjoy as much time outside as possible. I love exploring western Montana's splendor by attending Griz football games, golfing, water-skiing, hunting, snowmobiling, and atv'ing with my family and friends. I've decided that mountain biking and cycling are great ways to exercise, but I don’t put in as much time as I should.
My wife, Melissa, and I have lived in Florence for 24 years. We recently celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary with our three children, Anna (age 23), Jacob (21), and Sophia (16). I always enjoy teasing my family and keeping them on their toes.
I love being an educator! I began working in the public school setting in 1998. I strive to connect with staff and children, to provide children with the best learning experiences possible, and to help our staff to be as well-equipped as possible. I taught middle school for eighteen years and have been a school administrator for six (as a Superintendent/Principal and Activities Director). I've coached and officiated wrestling since I was a freshman in high school and am currently a high school wrestling referee with the Montana Officials Association. I’ve also dabbled in coaching football and track & field.
I am so excited to be at Victor Public School, and If you have the chance, please stop in because I love to meet community members and school stakeholders.. It’s important to me that we get to know each other.
It's going to be a great school year and I look forward to this journey with you. Here we go!
Always learning,
Scott Stiegler
