Hello Pirates! As you may have recently heard, Measles has appeared in Montana. It's known to be HIGHLY contagious. This disease is spread from person to person through the air from respiratory droplets from a sneeze or cough. As of April 17, 2025, Measles has now been reported in Gallatin County, Montana. The five individuals were exposed to Measles while traveling outside of Montana. They were unvaccinated, or vaccine status was unknown, but are isolating at home now. Under MCA 20-5-403, children attending school must be immunized against Measles, Mumps and Rubella. Two (2) doses of the MMR vaccine are required for all pupils in grades K-12, unless they qualify for conditional attendance or file for exemption as provided in 20-5-405. Per protocol, those not vaccinated may be excluded for 21 days after the onset of rash if an outbreak occurs. Please reconsider if you have not been vaccinated or have an exemption. We are attaching an opportunity at Ravalli Co Public Health Dept May 3rd for MMR. If you receive a dose, please email/fax forms to AKay@Victor.k12.mt.us or 406-642-3446. You can view additional information about this vaccine clinic or about Measles on the school website: https://www.victor.k12.mt.us/documents Thank you, Scott Stiegler, Superintendent

Kloe, has qualified for the NATIONAL History Day competition. Congratulations to Kloe!!! In early June, she will be traveling to Maryland/Washington DC for this event. This is VERY exciting, and we are thrilled that she is able to represent Victor, Montana, at this national event. Her family has set up a Go-Fund Me page to help raise $2500 for expenses associated with this trip. You can support Kloe here: . https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-kloes-journey-to-washington-dc/cl/s?lang=en_US&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_content=amp13_c-amp15_t3&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&attribution_id=sl%3A05b2cd9f-d208-4745-a7d2-909948d981ae

Kloe headed to Nationals
I would like to clear up a potential misunderstanding regarding the spaghetti feed fundraiser this weekend at the school. This event is a family-initiated activity to raise funds for their daughter to travel on an overseas basketball trip. This is not the annual athletic department fundraiser that will be held at a later time.

Congratulations to the Girls Bball team! They won their play-in game today and made it into the District Tournament. We're sending a pep bus to support the team. They play Seeley-Swan at Noon tomorrow (Thursday). If your 6th-12th grader wishes to ride the pep bus tomorrow, please return this form to the school tomorrow morning. The pep bus leaves at 10:30 and will return immediately after the game. We'll be back to the school before the end of the school day.
